Last Saturday Allen and I went to our apartment's end-of-summer pool party and won a prize in the raffle! Winning, in and of itself, was pretty exciting because I don't know if I've ever won a raffle that more than 10 people entered. We won a $25 gift card to a local Mexican restaurant called Lupe Tortilla. I took a picture of the gift card because it was so funny. Unfortunately, that picture is with Allen on its way to Chicago for the week. : ( I got a not-so-clear photo of their gift card from their website:

On Friday night we went to Lupe Tortilla and highly recommend it! (Of course you probably need to come visit us to try it because it's only in Houston, I think.) The food was delicious and we will have to go back sometime. While there, I drank at least 5 glasses of water because they kept refilling it. I made some offhand comment about how I would drink more at home if someone always refilled my water glass.
For some reason Allen remembered that comment and all day Saturday, as soon as I would take a drink of water and set my glass down, he would go top off my water glass for me even if it was almost all of the way full still! Haha! It was so cute and so funny! It made my day! I have a great husband.
