January 14-20, 2013

I thought I had more notes about things that went on and since I'm doing this over a year later, I have very little recollection other than what my planner and these pictures remind me of! I think Allen has some stuff on his phone (my texts) that would help illuminate what went on during these couple of months . . . but he's at work and I want to just get caught up. Sorry Caleb!
He still loves to play the piano.
Caleb stops playing, turns the page and then resumes playing.
"Cooking" with blocks and a spatula in the "pot" that is the basket from the back of his tricycle. He loves to help me when I cook too.

Caleb helps me around the house. He really likes to help me dust.

Loves bath time!
Thanks for the cute hooded towel Grandma Sunny! He loves it!
Arbor Day was Saturday, we got a few little seedling trees to plant (never ended up planting them) and then enjoyed all of the other festivities.
I'm waiting in line for our trees while Caleb watches the show going on on-stage.

First time in a bounce house thing and he wasn't sure if he liked it. He just stood at the wall.
Caleb liked seeing the animals in the petting zoo but wasn't sure about actually petting them.

Caleb loves helping Dad.

Building Caleb's big boy bed. We want to move him into it a few weeks before Leila comes so he doesn't feel like he's being kicked out of his crib/room.

He likes it! We waited a couple more weeks before having him sleep in there. He just got used to going in there to read or lay down.

Other notable things from this week include, buying a used freezer that was such a good deal, it seemed too good to be true. It was . . . Thanks Ed. so much for trying to premake meals and freeze them before having a baby.

We also took our Christmas lights down finally. We received a notice in the mail and apparently we aren't allowed to have Christmas decorations up beyond the first week in January or something like that.

Also, the weather was gorgeous this January so we went to the park almost every day and twice on some days.
