"Turn Around" and Rodeo

February 25-March 3, 2013

We watched Luke, took dinner to some friends who just had a baby boy and wished my mom happy birthday. Friday Allen took the day off of work and we went to the rodeo. Well, we just went to the carnival. We didn't actually go into the rodeo or the concert. We ate lots of the fairground food (greasy and yummy!) and just walked around. Caleb was too little for any of the rides but we had fun!

The funniest moment of the week was on Saturday: we were walking down our street and we got to the main road and Allen asked Caleb to turn around, meaning, turn and start walking back the other way. Caleb started spinning in circles. We were confused until we realized Allen had said turn around and Caleb was just obeying! It reminded me of Amelia Bedelia.

Caleb loves playing this simplified version of hide and seek. I say, "Where is Mom?" and duck down behind the couch and crawl to one side and then jump up and surprise him and tickle him.

He helps me "wash" dishes every day, at least once a day.

He's a pro at these little puzzles now.

This looks like his, "Come on Mom, I'm ready to go outside" face.

The truck almost always comes to the park. Sometimes it has to drive to the park, which takes forever. Other times we just play with it when we get there.

Airplane!

He still loves to read.

38 weeks along! And another normal OB visit now that we're down to the weekly visits.

Our barbecue pork sandwich was delicious!
I got lots of comments at the rodeo about being ready to pop and people asking if I was trying to walk the baby out.
