| Caleb has never liked cuddling up on us or burping like this. He almost always pulls away to try to look at what is going on. Recently, he has started cuddling on his Daddy and it's really cute. |

| Caleb has what looks like a rat-tail. All of the dark hair he was born with has fallen out, except for a patch below the MegaMind-like back of his head (aka the Adams' shelf). He has blonde hair that doesn't show up in the pictures. |
After a record-breaking drought this summer, we have had a wet winter. Allen called on Monday evening to tell me downtown Houston was flooded and the freeways were closed so he would be getting home late.

It's funny that it has only be three months because life without him seems so long ago. To celebrate, he and I went to the lactation center at the hospital to see how much he weighs with their good scale. 12 lbs 6 oz and he might be around 25 inches long . . . I'm not very good at getting an accurate measurement by myself and keep forgetting to have Allen help.
I weighed him before and after he ate because I'm a worrier and wasn't sure if he was getting enough to eat. He has always had plenty of wet/dirty diapers every day but he's still so skinny and when I pumped I was hardly getting anything! It turns out that he is getting plenty to eat from me and it was the pump that was the issue. I bought a new pump, just a manual Medela one and I get way more much faster than with my old Playtex pump.

He is perfecting his yell/talk/scream/squeal.
Caleb is learning how to grab toys on his own, which is great because he can entertain himself in the back of the car much better.
One of my favorite things is that he grabs my arm when I change him! It's so cute.

| He grabs it (and eats it sometimes). He also does this scissor thing with his legs where he traps my right arm between his legs. Also very cute but I have yet to get a picture of that. |
We've gotten Caleb to go to sleep between 6:30 and 7:30 pm most nights and it's nice to have some Nikki and Allen time while he sleeps for those first two or three hours of the night. Then as Caleb wakes up during the night, Allen has been helping me a lot! I get up to feed him and he has been getting up to calm him down every other time he wakes up.

Glad to hear Caleb is feeling/sleeping better! It really does make a huge difference if you have a great partner who canl help you out in the middle of the night.
