SQUEEZE!

December 10-16, 2012

Caleb is 14 months old and I am 27 weeks pregnant.

Caleb still loves the bathtub. He loves to splash and now his splashes soak the whole bathroom... we'll have to stop this eventually. My favorite is that he loves how the water feels running down his back and on his bum so backs up to the faucet and sticks his bum out.

When Caleb gets excited, he clenches his teeth together and clenches his hands into fists

He will also do it if we say, "Squeeze!"

Allen loves egg nog so I bought some and when he got home from work I opened the fridge and said, "Look what I bought for you!" As I pulled it out I realized instead of egg nog I bought buttermilk . . . we ended up having some good buttermilk pancakes and buttermilk syrup, buttermilk mashed potatoes and then froze some to use later.

Caleb loves to read.

Caleb and I went to the mall to play this week (we must have had a cold front or rain, otherwise we would have just played outside). The best part was afterward when we got a free cookie!

Caleb has a hard time finding his ear to put the phone to. It usually goes to the back of his head.

Caleb likes to pull me around the house by my sweatshirt string like a dog. I have a picture on my phone but I haven't (ever) gotten the pictures off of it to put on here.

Caleb has started to throw his toys behind him all of the time. Sometimes he does it like a football hike between his legs, usually balancing on his head and feet while he chucks it back.

Caleb likes to try to jump. He squats down really far and then straightens his legs and is really cute but has yet to make it off the ground. He also thinks it's really fun to watch Dad jump.

He understands more than we think... he has started responding to requests from us. We were sitting in the living room and I asked him to throw something away and he took it from me, over to the trash can and threw it away. Another time Allen asked him to go get a diaper to could change Caleb and he grabbed it and brought it to him!

Dad was throwing the ball at his head.

He thought it was hilarious!

At church Caleb thinks the person conducting the music is waving to him and waves back.

At church... Caleb has to get everyone's attention, whether they are on the pew in front or behind him.

Allen was taking pictures to do "Elf Yourself" with. It was hilarious to watch Caleb hip hop dance.
